X-BT Fastening System

The X-BT fastening system provides a method to attach threaded studs to steel plate, after the plate is painted, and without welding.  The system used a tight dimensional fit with forced entry to generate a secure and strong connection.  You can find more details on the company website.  Search for X-BT fastening system.

Per IMO regulations, most ships require ballast water treatment technology to prevent the spread of invasive marine organisms.  Hyde Marine  manufactures ballast water treatment systems, based on a combination of filtration and UV disinfection.
